Lynn Nicholes, Licensed Massage Therapist

Lynn Nicholes, Licensed Massage Therapist at Back to Balance Chiropractic & Wellness

At Back to Balance Chiropractic & Wellness, we believe healing happens when the body is given the right support, and few people understand that better than Lynn Nicholes.

Lynn has been an integral part of Back to Balance since the very beginning. With years of experience and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best, she has built a reputation for providing therapeutic massage treatments that help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.

Lynn specializes in Pressure Point Massage utilizing the SMART Technique (Soft Tissue Muscle Activation and Release Therapy), an advanced approach designed to identify and address areas of tension, restriction, and muscular dysfunction throughout the body. Rather than simply focusing on relaxation, this technique works to locate the underlying causes of discomfort and help the body return to proper movement patterns.

The SMART Technique combines targeted pressure, soft tissue mobilization, muscle activation, and therapeutic massage techniques to help:

  • Reduce muscle tension and chronic tightness
  • Improve range of motion and flexibility
  • Decrease pain and inflammation
  • Enhance circulation and blood flow
  • Promote faster recovery from injury
  • Support chiropractic adjustments and rehabilitation programs
  • Improve posture and movement patterns
  • Reduce stress and encourage nervous system relaxation

Many patients seek Lynn’s care for conditions such as neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, sciatica, sports injuries, muscle tension, auto accident injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Her treatments are personalized to each patient’s needs, whether they are looking for pain relief, injury recovery, improved athletic performance, or simply a chance to reset and recharge.

What truly sets Lynn apart is her ability to combine clinical expertise with genuine compassion. Patients often comment on her intuitive understanding of the body and her ability to find problem areas that they didn’t even realize were contributing to their discomfort.

When she’s not helping patients in the office, Lynn enjoys spending time on the golf course, caring for her chickens, and making memories with her beloved granddaughter.

If you’re looking for therapeutic massage that goes beyond relaxation and focuses on helping your body function at its best, schedule a session with Lynn and experience the difference for yourself.

Gabriel, Licensed Massage Therapist

Gabriel, Licensed Massage Therapist at Back to Balance Chiropractic & Wellness

At Back to Balance Chiropractic & Wellness, we’re passionate about helping people move better, feel better, and get back to doing what they love—and Gabriel brings that same philosophy into every massage.

Gabriel’s massage journey began in 2016 on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she discovered a deep appreciation for both the human body and the incredible healing power of therapeutic touch. Since then, her career has taken her around the world, allowing her to learn from diverse cultures and study a wide variety of bodywork techniques that she now blends into every treatment.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, Gabriel carefully listens to each person’s body and nervous system, tailoring every session to provide the type of work the body is ready to receive. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, managing stress, or simply looking to move more comfortably, her goal is to help you leave feeling more balanced, restored, and connected to your body.

Her treatment style incorporates a unique blend of:

  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Myofascial Release
  • Tui Na
  • Lomi Lomi
  • Trager Approach
  • Trauma-Informed Touch
  • Cupping Therapy
  • Gua Sha
  • Hot & Cold Towel Therapy

Gabriel enjoys helping patients with everything from chronic muscle tension and headaches to athletic recovery, mobility restrictions, and everyday aches and pains. She believes healing happens best when the nervous system feels safe, supported, and respected.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find Gabriel hiking Utah’s trails, biking, gardening barefoot with a cup of tea, exploring rivers with her son and their dog, or creating homemade pasta from scratch. She also loves woodworking and has even mastered the art of hand-whittling chopsticks.

Originally from North Carolina, Gabriel has lived all over the world—including Hawaii and Ghana—and brings the knowledge, compassion, and perspective she’s gained from those experiences into every treatment she provides.

Gabriel is honored to care for each person who trusts her with their health and looks forward to helping you move with greater ease and live with less pain.
